Aryá Tanmay Gupta is a versatile computer scientist with a passion for exploring various fields of study. With over 5 years of experience in the industry, Aryá has worked on software projects, embedded systems, intelligence, and analysis during his undergraduate studies. He has also instructed others on software development, embedded systems such as Arduino, Atmega, Raspberry, and programming languages such as Java, Python, C, and C++. Currently, Aryá is working on graph theory, theory of computation, and distributed systems. Aryá is also interested in modelling natural systems, especially in computational biology and the application of computer science in healthcare and agriculture. Besides being a computer scientist, Aryá is a poet, painter, engineer, electrician, carpenter, architect, mason, and a curious mathematician. His h-index is 2, and ha-index is 75. Currently, Aryá is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University, where he is responsible for teaching courses such as Introduction to programming I (Python), Introduction to programming II (C++), Discrete Structures in Computer Science, and Algorithmic Graph Theory. He has also served as a Laboratory Instructor and Teaching Assistant at the Government of India PPP, Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara, and the University of Delhi, Ramanujan College, Dept. of Computer Science. Aryá holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Computer Science from the University of Delhi, Ramanujan College.
